Don’t forget to wave to the river residents enjoying the summer on their docks!

Once aboard, stow your belongings, kick back and let our crew do the driving! We’ll give you a little history, a lot of made-up stories, and a memorable trip along Bass River! Make it a real Cape Cod picnic by packing your cooler with locally sourced items:

Each cruise will have a maximum of 6 people on board plus the Captain and crew, and can be rented for private cruises upon request! While we mainly operate out of Bass River, inquiries for other bodies of water can be discussed upon request as well. We will do our best to accommodate as long as conditions allow.

Get to know your Captain!

Captain Drew is a true “local”, born and raised in Harwich, on Cape Cod. As a beach bum and avid boater, owning and captaining a tiki boat is a real dream come true! Drew is a USCG licensed captain, combining his experience on the water with more than a decade in the hospitality industry, to give you a fun, safe and entertaining on-the-water experience! While aboard, ask Captain Drew for his recommendations on music (on and off-board the vessel!), his favorite restaurants, breweries, beaches and other local hangouts.

FAQs

HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN YOU CARRY?

USCG allows us to carry up to six passengers plus crew. All passengers must be over 21.

HOW LONG IS THE CRUISE?

Our standard cruises run approximately 2 hours from beginning to end, including a quick safety run-down before we depart.

WHAT WATERS DO YOU CRUISE?

We operate out of Bass River along the Dennis/ Yarmouth line. Starting at Highbank landing, and cruising down the river then back up. If time, weather, and seas permit, we have the option to go out of the river and cruise along beautiful West Dennis beach.

DO YOU OFFER PRIVATE CRUISES?

Yes, upon request. While we mainly operate out of Bass River, inquiries for other bodies of water can be discussed upon request as well. We will do our best to accommodate as long as conditions allow.

DO YOU PROVIDE BEVERAGES OR SNACKS?

No, all Cape Tiki cruises are fully BYOB, including snacks. We will have a cooler to provide ice on board. WE HAVE A NO GLASS POLICY, bottled wine is ok as long as it is stored in a cooler or bag and not where it can be kicked over, knocked off the bar, etc. Same for Glass liquor bottles, and we ask for nothing above 750ML. NO beer bottles, glass beer cups, glass wine cups, or anything easily breakable. If you have any questions, please ask the Captain or crew before departure. Reusable cups like Yeti mugs are highly encouraged!

WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?

There is NO dress code for the boat! You may want to consider bringing hats and sunglasses. If your cruise is in the afternoon, you may want to consider bringing a sweatshirt or light jacket. An extra layer is always encouraged towards the later part of the day due to shifting winds, bugs, and the sun going behind the clouds. We also ask that no shoes that can damage our soft, water resistant floors be worn, such as heels, golf shoes, etc. Every cruise will have Cape Tiki t-shirts and sweatshirts available on board, just ask the Captain or crew about getting one!

HOW FAST DO THE TIKI BOATS GO?

It’s a slow, relaxing ride… our boat has a cruising speed of around 6 knots (approx. 7 mph), depending on the wind, current, and traffic in the river.

CAN I PLAY MY OWN MUSIC ONBOARD?

Yes! Our boat comes with a 6-speaker 10” subwoofer sound system. We have installed an ipad, preloaded it with the Spotify music app, and hooked it up to the Bluetooth system. Pick from a custom Cape Tiki Cruises playlist, or pick and queue any song you want to hear! If there are multiple parties on board, please be courteous to others when choosing music. Don’t be afraid to ask Captain Drew for music recommendations or even to take over, he does have DJ experience!

IS THERE A USB CHARGING PORT AVAILABLE FOR USE?

Yes, we have USB charging ports available. Please provide your own chargers.

ARE THERE LIFE JACKETS ON BOARD?

Yes! There is a type 1 wearable U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jacket on board for each person. There is also a throw ring on the boat.

ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED?

Unfortunately for our first season, all of our scheduled cruises are for guests 21 yrs old and over. Our cruises are generally a more adult atmosphere.

DO YOU OPERATE IN THE RAIN?

If a steady rain is forecast, we may cancel the cruise. If the forecast is for passing showers or pop up storms we will monitor this hour by hour and notify you if we need to cancel as soon as we make the decision. We will cruise in most light rain, mist, fog, and passing showers scenarios. Dress appropriately. We will make every effort to notify you should we have to cancel in advance. You will be offered a refund for your ticket or a rain check towards another trip with us. We make every effort to get your scheduled cruise in.

SHOULD I TIP MY CAPTAIN AND CREW?

Our Captain and crew welcome tips and gratuity is gratefully appreciated.

IS THERE A RESTROOM ON BOARD?

We do not have a restroom on board. There are facilites at the loading dock. We strongly encourage you to use them before boarding.

CAN I JUMP OFF THE BOAT/ GO SWIMMING?

No! Unfortunately, this is a one strike rule. Anyone who attempts to jump off the boat will immediately be brought back to the dock. Our highest priority is to ensure the safety of all on board, we are not lifeguards.

CAN I BRING MY FISHING POLE OR CRABBING NET?

Sorry, we do not allow passengers to fish or crab from the boat.

IS YOUR BOAT WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?

Unfortunately, we are not wheelchair accessible.
